Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who will be performing my treatment?
A: At Lumiz medical facials and peel treatments are only performed by Zhanna, a certified, experienced medical aesthetician.

Q: What’s included in a Medical Facial?

A: Zhanna is proud of how she tailors each treatment to fit your skin’s unique needs. That

means the steps might look a little different from person to person - and even from one

visit to the next.

Q: What does a Medical Facial feel like?

A: The treatment itself is actually quite relaxing. You might feel a bit of tingling or warmth during the Clinical Peel step - that’s totally normal and just a sign that the high-performance ingredients are doing their job. Zhanna, your medical aesthetician, will be with you the entire time to make sure you're comfortable and won’t leave the room at any point. If anything feels off, just say the word and she’lll take care of it right away.

Q: Is there any downtime after the treatment?
A: After the Clinical Peel, it’s normal to have some mild redness or sensitivity for about 24 to 48 hours. Depending on your skin, you might also notice some light peeling starting around day 3 and lasting a couple of days. If that happens, resist the urge to pick or peel—just keep your skin well-hydrated. That’ll help it heal faster and reveal fresh,  glowing skin underneath.

Q: Can I get back to my regular activities right away?

A: For the most part, yes! You can go about your day as usual, but we do recommend  avoiding things like heavy sweating, hot tubs, and saunas for the first 24 hours. It’s also  best to steer clear of direct sun exposure on the treated area for 1–2 weeks to protect your results.
